GROUNDBREAKING AR WALL TECHNOLOGY
On Star Trek: Discovery Season 4, I had the opportunity to contribute to work involving PXO’s groundbreaking AR wall pipeline—an advanced virtual production environment built with LED volumes, motion tracking, and Unreal Engine. The production’s use of real-time technology helped redefine how large-scale cinematic environments could be created and captured for television, with virtual locations appearing directly in camera rather than being added entirely in post.
Working within that environment demanded more than technical familiarity—it required adaptability, problem-solving, and a strong understanding of how creative and technical systems intersect under production pressure. My experience, knowledge, and ability to solve challenges in real time allowed me to play a part in supporting the AR wall work on Star Trek: Discovery Season 4, contributing to a process that showcased the power of leading-edge tools like Unreal Engine in modern filmmaking.
